The latest findings in the ManpowerGroup Employment Outlook Survey (MEOS) show strong hiring optimism continuing into the third quarter of 2022, with +35% of employers planning to add to their workforce. However, in conjunction with labour markets rebounding, the impact of the pandemic has catalysed a talent shortage of historical scale, with employers globally reporting unprecedented talent and skills shortages.
As people are emerging from the crisis, history tells us they’ll be looking to make changes, seeking new growth opportunities, a new work-life blend, earn a liveable wage and focus on new priorities. Those employers that are responsive to these new needs and can be flexible, will be the ones able to attract and retain the best talent.
In this webinar we are joined by Joanne Regan-Iles, Chief People Officer of Ventrica, to review the latest MEOS report and share the insights on the upcoming quarter’s trends and statistics. This quarter’s Employment Outlook webinar has a special focus on today’s rapidly changing environment and the acceleration of some known trends before the crisis as well as the emergence of new trends, as well as:
The Great Hiring Bounceback – what do hiring intentions look like across the sectors, regionally and globally?
Talent shortages – How much difficulty are organisations having filling roles and why?
