This is a dynamic, demanding role to lead on the communication and engagement activity to successfully deliver a major technology migration programme that touches every area of the UKI business.
You will work with the Programme team to develop the communication strategy and deliver tactical communications and campaigns, using a variety of channels, with the wider support of the Internal communications and people teams. As well as weaving broader programme communications into the wider UKI calendar of communications and messaging.
This role will report to the Head of Internal Communications and you will be working closely with the whole Internal Communications team including a team of business partners, the planning and channels leads, and supported by our creative studio.
The role will suit someone with a solid background in internal communications as well as experience of technology change communications. A creative thinker, who can make sense of the complex, naturally curious and understands how communications can effectively support programme management and people change.
What you need to succeed:

  • At least 5 years' experience working at a management level in internal communications or marketing roles with a sound knowledge of communication best practice - or can demonstrate the essential skills required.
  • Experience working on change/technology transformation programmes, with understanding of change management
  • Proven track record in the delivery of high-impact communications plans to help deliver desired business outcomes.
  • Sound business acumen, good organisational awareness and strategic approach to problem solving.
  • Significant ability to manage multiple programmes and projects and senior stakeholders with potentially conflicting priorities.
  • Ability to work on your own to drive business outcomes based on insight provided and where necessary commission bespoke reports.
  • Ability to juggle strategic thinking with practical delivery
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal, able to draw out clear briefs, making the complex simple
  • Naturally curious, keen to connect across our teams and always able to sniff out a good story
  • Professionally qualified to degree level or equivalent.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the credibility to advise senior managers and directors.
  • Ability to build constructive and collaborative working relationships.
