My client is a leading IT & Tech company looking for a Senior Solution Architect responsible for oversight, planning & risk management of the Virtual Migration of a strategic network.
You must have extensive experience with VM Ware.
CONTRACT
* Umbrella contract
* Hybrid (1-2 days in the London office)
* 5 month initial contract (likely to extend)
* Day Rate - £400-£480pd
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for oversight, planning & risk management of default gateway cutovers to the strategic network.
- Responsible for oversight, planning & risk management of AVI Load Balancer Migrations
- Support triage of post migration issues.
- Network change assurance
- Experience of NSX V-T migrations,
- Working on a large programme
- Experience of working with 3rd party vendors such as VMware / Broadcom / Cisco
Day to day tasks:
You will be responsible for providing direction and management of the Virtual Migration and reports directly to the Programme Manager. The Network Lead is key to the success of the programme. The Network Lead will lead the migration resources from a Network perspective whilst also participate in pre and post migration execution activities as to the needs of the programme. The Network Lead will work with and interact with wider teams such as Virtualisation Lead, UNIX Migration Lead, SAN Lead, Resource Management and the Planning function.
You will be an authoritative resource, providing support a direction to the wider programme
