Role: Senior or Principal Regulation Engineer
Location: Birmingham
Salary: Senior level: £45,000-£55,000, Principal level: £55,000-£65,000
About the Role
This position involves providing strategic analysis of regulations in global markets and delivering regular status updates.
Requirements
- BS/MS or higher in Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years' R&D experience in relevant industries.
- Strong understanding of automotive regulations worldwide.
- Experience with regulation trend analysis and vehicle homologation processes.
- Automotive industry experience is preferred.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of the global automotive regulations landscape.
- Deliver regular reports on key regulation trends, particularly in Europe.
- Support the development of overseas marketing strategies.
- Assist in creating products suitable for international markets.
- Collaborate with headquarters and regional organizations involved in homologation.
- Research new standards, regulations, and market-specific requirements.
- Represent the company in the UK and potentially the EU on regulation-related matters.
Other Features
- Based primarily at Birmingham Business Park.
- Some travel may be required depending on project needs.
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.
