Role purpose / summary
- Develop ServiceNow custom applications
- Develop CPA service software to meet user needs and ACOE service requirements
- Follow ACOE good practice guidelines and help to improve those guidelines
- Write clean, secure and well-tested software
- Coach and mentor more junior colleagues
- Operate the services build and identify issues in production
- Support the resolution of operational issues
- Maintain the ServiceNow Self-Hosted Platform which includes monitoring and capacity management
- Ensure snaphosts, backup and clonebacks are completed as appropriate
- Schedule and communicate upgrades of the platform as required
- Design and schedule application uptime to meet cost optimisation goals
Key Skills/ requirements
- Developing ServiceNow custom applications .
- Good Linux OS experience which includes shell scripting, standard Linux string manipulation and reporting tools
- ServiceNow application development
