Role purpose / summary
Operations Engineer required for the Transfers Team within Tax Admin.
Core Responsibilities:
* Investigating and resolving Live Service Incidents without breaching SLAs
* Supporting Patching activity
* Supporting Failover activity
* Completing Daily Checks
* Monitoring Service Now queue
Ancillary Duties:
* Support Onboarding
* Able to support colleagues within their role across teams within the area.
* Participates in workshops, reviews and external meetings.
* Business Awareness / Impact
Skills/Technologies:
* Service Now (essential)
* Live Service Support - triaging and resolving issues on the live service via Service Now Tickets (root cause analysis) (essential)
* AWS Cloud Certification would be advantageous but not essential ITIL (desirable)
* Powershell (desirable)
* Job Scheduler (desirable)
* Splunk (desirable)
* Dynatrace (desirable)
* Gitlab (desirable)
