Role Overview:
This role is key in ensuring the successful migration and transformation of our infrastructure to a cloud-based platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure engineering, cloud platforms, security, and strategic thinking, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions while maintaining risk and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end migration of infrastructure systems to a cloud platform.
- Analyze and document infrastructure requirements to align with business needs and technical strategies.
- Design and implement secure cloud-based systems, ensuring they meet governance, risk, and control requirements.
- Collaborate with various teams, including IT, security, and development, to facilitate change and transformation initiatives.
- Drive innovation through strategic thinking and problem-solving, balancing business and technology requirements.
- Conduct data modeling and business process re-engineering (BPR) to optimize cloud migration.
- Provide guidance on IT governance, ensuring compliance with risk and control frameworks.
- Utilize Scrum or agile methodologies to drive effective project delivery.
- Perform cost-benefit analysis (CBA) to evaluate technical solutions and provide business value.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in Infrastructure Engineering with a strong focus on Cloud Platform migration.
- Solid understanding of Security Systems and Risk & Controls in cloud environments.
- Expertise in Requirements Analysis, Systems Design, and IT Governance.
- Experience with Scrum or other agile development frameworks.
- Ability to think strategically and innovate in the face of complex challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to lead Change and Transformation initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in Business Process Re-Engineering (BPR) and Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA).
- Business acumen with the ability to align technical solutions to business needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) are highly desirable.
- Experience with IT Governance, Risk, and Control frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST is a plus.
