Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the RHEL virtual server estate, utilising RHEL Satellite for efficient systems management.
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot incidents, and conduct security audits to ensure compliance with best practices.
- Effective communication both internally and externally, collaborating with the IT team to address user requests and technical issues.
- Participation in out-of-hours activities to ensure the stability, performance, and security of the client's IT migration.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA).
- Proficient in RHEL administration and RHEL Satellite for systems management.
- Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Scripting and automation skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
- Understanding of networking and security principles.
- Proven track record in managing and optimising large-scale IT infrastructure.
Advantageous Skills:
- Experience with Windows Server.
- Proficiency in VMware.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
