IT Support Technician | Windows 2nd line BAU Support, Hardware Support, Mobile phones | SC Clearance:

Must have Active SC Clearance to be considered for this position at this time

The role:

  • We are currently wokring with a Tech Consultancy, who are looking for two SC Cleared 2nd Line Support Engineers to provide BAU Support and Hardware break/fix for one of their clients in Derby.

Key Information:

  • Duration: 6 months - very highly likely extensions.
  • Pay: Circa £170 - £180 per day Inside IR35
  • Location: On site in Derby 5 days per week.
  • Start Date: Jan 2025
  • Circa 7.5 working hours per day

The Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in IT Service environment
  • Ideally certified in appropriate technologies, Dell and Windows to support business strategy
  • Provide IT Break/Fix Support (1st, 2nd line)
  • Escalate issues in line with company processes to ensure customer demands are met.
  • Ensure Department/Contract meets SLA performance targets
  • Supporting Dell and HP kit, docking stations, keyboards, mice
  • Windows 10/11 environment
  • MS Outlook & Office 2016
  • 2nd Line Software Support & Installation
  • Keep skills up to date with IT industry standards as appropriate to the role/contract
  • Understand and adhere to policies and procedures
  • Maintain and improve customer satisfaction levels
