*£32,000pa to £35,000pa + Full Benefits Package

This privately owned, revered Hotel, Hospitality, Leisure, Spa and Fitness resort are seeking an IT Support Analyst with a solid technical background and excellent (confident) communication and client service skills.

You will need a flexible working approach you will be the "Hands-on in-house IT presence" who will also be required to support IT Services and IT Systems on a basis including all internal / external, remote connections and communications.

Working with and receiving additional support from a 3rd Party IT Services company, this role offers the successful applicant 360 Degree access to all in-house IT Systems, Cloud Infrastructure, Meraki Networks, Wi-Fi, Internet, Multimedia, Telephony and AV Technology.

This enticing and enviable opportunity is set in a location of over 400 acres of prime Cotswold countryside and supports several sites including, hotels, restaurant and private lodges.

Strategic Responsibilities:

You will assist with IT implementations and IT support for the overall IT strategy and assist the IT Business Systems Manager with the internal technology infrastructure in respect of Cloud, Network and Security technologies.

Operational Responsibilities:

You will act as the "technical eyes and ears for IT Operations" coexisting with other business functions and users (in-house & remote) to improve IT from 1st to 2nd line support for all in-house systems and act as the main escalation point, for the managed services, for problems pertaining to the business and its infrastructure platform.

You will evolve into a full 3rd line level IT support specialist in time.

This role will require energy and enthusiasm and an eye for new technology as you will be involved in this clients IT future who will be pushing their IT Systems forward for the next 3 to 5 years.

Technical Skills and Technical Awareness will involve:

  • Microsoft Genealogy and Applications
  • O365 & Azure Cloud Services
  • Windows Azure Servers
  • Meraki Networks & Network Security
  • Must be technically competent to support PC's, Remote Devices, Laptops & iPad's
  • Windows Desktop 10 & 11
  • MS Exchange, O365, Active Directory
  • Virtualisation - Hyper-V, VMware
  • IT 3rd Party / outsourced IT support vendor management
  • EPOS, and Payment systems
  • Experience working with 3CX Telephony
  • Technically competent to support Internet, AV, in-house Cinema needs & AV - Audio Visual Systems
  • Must be able to work under pressure and trouble shoot problems quickly
  • Ideally some knowledge of Hospitality Systems and Sage

Advantageous Qualifications will include Azure, MCSE, MCDT, MCP's, CCNA, Meraki, Telephony etc
