My Client a large global financial services is recruiting for an experienced HR Professional on a 6 month contract basis. The role is Inside IR35 and Based in the London office (3 days onsite). Fluent German is a must in this role.

The Colleague Experience Group (CEG) is focused on providing a great colleague experience, every day. We do this by focusing on four strategic pillars - Careers, Culture, Recruiting and Well-being. This role is part of the International Colleague Strategic Partner team (Intl CSP, formerly Market HR or HRBPs) in this group. Reporting to the Director, CEG - Germany, Austria & Switzerland, this Manager role will lead and support workstreams that unlock enterprise value, enable change to drive business outcomes, and help grow the best talent for the German and Austrian markets of over 500 colleagues. The role is also responsible for people management, including acquiring, developing, and retaining colleagues, and partnering with stakeholders for key programs around Compensation, Benefits, Diversity, and Colleague and Labor relations.

Aligned to the design and delivery of the Market Colleague Plan in Germany, you will make an impact by focusing on:

  • Business partnership
    • Serving as a point of integration for Colleague Strategic Partners (CSPs, formerly HRBPs), CEG Centres of Excellence (COEs), and the broader CEG team to ensure the alignment and effective deployment of key initiatives.
    • Inspiring change initiatives with senior partners to provide meaningful solutions aligned to the evolving needs of the business and the growth of our colleagues.
    • Providing high impact consultation and solutions to our business leaders using a practical and data-driven approach.

  • Leading the local market strategy around career growth, including playing a key role in our Leadership Community.
  • Strengthening colleagues' capabilities by building a learning strategy that has targeted skill development and incorporates innovative learning solutions.

  • Partnering with Global Talent Acquisition to use recruitment insights to advise and drive the market talent strategy, including building internal and external talent pipelines.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years proven experience with HR expertise in a matrixed and international environment.
  • High drive for decision-making & results, with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills with the proven track record to lead and successfully deliver large scale strategic projects and initiatives.
  • Knowledge or experience around Talent Management & Learning.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills, proven ability to work across all levels of the organisation in a matrixed structure.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing data.
  • Understanding of the local employment law landscape and experience with Works Council is a plus.
  • Strong PC and Microsoft office skills including but not limited to Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
