FM Coordinator

Legnth: 6 months (strong potential to go perm)

Rate: £20 to £30 per hour via umbrella (dependant on experience)

Location: Ruislip (3 days onsite per week minimum)

Job Purpose

The successful business delivery of FM Services including minor projects within the LFB Fleet Contract. Ensuring Customer Services, performance and budget targets are monitored and met using a balance of internal self-delivery teams and external contractors.

To manage a Facilities support function across a Ruislip and Swan Island.

To provide a professional support service to the LFB Fleet Contract, supporting and working cooperatively with all employees to pro-actively plan staff activities.

Key Responsibilities

To lead FM service delivery teams and sub-contractors to manage and maintain the properties and services across LFB Fleet.

  • Support the implementation of Business
  • Delivery of best practice standards as appropriate across the functions
  • Establishing and maintaining regular interaction with appropriate cross-function departments
  • Maintain Compliance of all Assets in line with Company Policy and Legal compliance

Principal areas of accountability:

  • Safeguarding confidential & personal Information
  • Maintaining high level of quality service and customer
  • Providing Subject Matter Expert support and guidance to the wider team and key stakeholders on at least one element of Hard or Soft FM (Water, electricity, waste etc.).
  • To ensure health and safety compliance is achieved within the service area.
  • Management and delivery of FM operations. Arranging out of hours work and holiday sickness cover when required.

  • To support business change and business improvement plans and proactively identify new opportunities for efficiencies in service delivery

Experience/Qualifications/Skills

  • To undertake necessary training to become a Responsible Person / Subject Matter Expert in a Service Delivery of Hard or Soft FM.
  • Relevant professional qualification: IWFM (or working towards). Or equivalent qualification or comparable through experience qualification in role related subject.
  • Knowledge and understanding of working within a Hard or Soft FM service.
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant regulatory and legislative requirements and British Standards or how to obtain and instigate these requirements.
