EMC Tester
Location: Portsmouth (3-5 days work onsite depending on client activities through this time)
Duration: 6 months
Rate: £55p/h via Umbrella
Successful candidate will go through a BPSS check
Role Description:
* Able to prepare EMC test setup and execute the testing and make sure test specifications are followed in correct order.
* Closely work with clients to understand point of focus on the testing and help investigating EMC test failures
* Involve in Engaging with EMC test labs on behalf of clients and making sure timely closure of test schedule
* Formally Log test setup, product condition (before, during test and after test), and creating and maintaining clear test records
* Able to review EMC Test results and feedback consolidated view to clients on the findings.
* Able to co-ordinate and work with testing team, help maintaining the test facilities.
* Regularly monitor test equipment and reporting anomalies or faults
* Familiarity with EMC testing equipment's and standards for defense and Aerospace
* Ability to communicate clearly/confidently and in-deal with clients
