Location: Holborn 5 says on site
Contract: 3 months possible extension
Pay: up to £425 per day - Umbrella only (inside IR35)

Role purpose / summary

The role primarily focuses on ensuring compliance with Data subject access requests under privacy regulations and ensuring data subject access are logged, analysed within legal timeframes
Lead a team of 6-7 staff managing the Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs)
Responsibilities include:

  • Handling sensitive and complex requests, ensuring all correspondence and disclosures are timely, accurate, and compliant with relevant legislation, regulations, and policies.
  • Processing all subject access requests, ensuring they are handled accurately and promptly.
  • Managing privacy compliance, documentation, records management, quality assurance, and timely delivery of DSARs.
  • Conducting quality checks on final DSAR deliveries to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Managing relationships with the Privacy Legal team, customer support, human resources, technology, and data teams.
  • Overseeing the processing of all DSARs to ensure responses are accurate, compliant, and timely.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to provide accurate and timely responses in compliance with legislation.
  • Collaborating with all business areas to implement and maintain data privacy processes.
  • Ensuring all the DSARs are meeting with the SLAs


Skills

  • Overall 5+ years' experience in data privacy, good understanding of GDPR and other global privacy laws
  • 2+ years' experience as a Process lead/Team Leader
  • Overall 3+ years experience in handling data subject access request
  • Experience in Stakeholder management, handling customer's Complaints & Queries
  • Quality Assurance/Quality checker



Desired Qualifications

  • Graduation/Masters degree
  • Privacy certification such as CIPP/E,CIPM(preferred)
