Are you a seasoned .NET Developer with a passion for Azure and driving technical delivery? We are looking for a Lead .NET Azure Developer to join a dynamic team, where you will take the lead in ensuring successful software engineering activities and technical delivery. In this role, you'll work closely with the Product Owner and Delivery Manager to help the team stay on track and deliver exceptional results. You will be the go-to person for all things technical, while also collaborating with internal teams and external 3rd parties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead software engineering activities within a wider delivery team, ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery.
- Drive technical direction, ensuring alignment across the team and project.
- Identify and escalate any capability gaps or risks that may hinder delivery.
- Serve as the technical liaison between internal infrastructure teams and external 3rd party partners.
- Provide Business As Usual (BAU) support for a large legacy application.
- Effectively coordinate technical support activities and ensure seamless communication between teams.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience leading software engineering efforts within a cross-functional delivery team.
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Framework (6/7/8+).
- Hands-on experience working with Azure and deploying applications in cloud environments.
- Experience working in support roles, handling legacy applications, and addressing technical issues.
- Strong understanding of building and maintaining delivery pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills with experience coordinating work with external 3rd parties.
- Mentoring and developing team members to strengthen both individual and team capabilities.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure Event Grid.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps YAML pipelines and Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Knowledge of Azure Security best practices.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, SQL Server, and Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Experience with Angular or other front-end frameworks.
- Understanding of software testing, with a preference for automation.
- Strong focus on observability and performance monitoring.
