Our client, a dynamic and high profile organisation, urgently require an experienced AWS Developer to join their team.
In order to be successful, you will have the following experience:
- AWS Certification
- Extensive experience in developing and deploying applications on AWS cloud services
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js for server-side development on AWS.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
- In-depth knowledge of containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing
- SC Cleared as a minimum
Within this role, you will be responsible for:
- Implement AWS-based solutions, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and secure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define technical specifications for new projects
- Design, develop, and deploy AWS services, such as EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, and RDS, to meet business needs.
- Optimise and troubleshoot existing AWS infrastructure
- Develop automated deployment and configuration management processes using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Implement best practices for security, monitoring, and logging to maintain highly secure and compliant environments
- Mentor and guide junior developers
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of applications and infrastructure
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and adherence to standards
