Job Title: DV Cleared Wintel Engineer/Integrator
Location: Stevenage 5 days per week (7-3 or 10-7 shifts)
Duration: 6 months
Rate: Up to £600 per day via an approved umbrella company
Our Defence sector client is looking for Wintel Integrator/Engineer to join their team.
Brief overview on the role/project:
Wintel Engineer, specialist skills in supporting multiple products and systems for multiple customers to maintain the availability of the IT service delivered to end users. Also delivers medium complexity work packages as part of customer implementation projects.
Mandatory skills:
Experienced installing and configuring MS Windows Server and associated technologies e.g. AD, DNS, WSUS etc. Both physical and virtual server configurations. Experience with Windows Server 2016, 2019 and 2022 (physical and virtual devices) including associated services e.g. AD (Active Directory), DNS, WSUS etc. VMware (to the extent of deploying and maintaining payloads) with NetApp SAN and Cohesity backups. Microsoft System Centre Operations Management and System Centre Configuration Manager
Desirable skills:
Enterprise Management tooling and agent deployment. Server Agents deployment and configuration e.g. Backup, AV, tenable etc. SIEM agent deployment, i.e. Splunk. Build automation software - Ansible and PowerShell skills
